Today is our last day of cruising on the Legend of the Seas. After 5 days of being waited on, over-eating and visiting foreign lands, our trip is nearing it’s end.
Other than Eating?
The day started with a great breakfast in the smart restaurant called the Romeo and Juliet, as opposed to the Windjammer which is a buffet style eatery as opposed to a restaurant. After eating a bit too much and having some down time, it was time to hit the gym so that I did not feel too guilty. Plus the weather is not great today (overcast/intermittent rain and windy), so my original plan of some more rock climbing had to be altered.
A couple of hours later it was time to eat, again. By this time the wind had at least died down so eating was easier than it was at breakfast time (feeling that you are going to fall off your chair does make eating interesting).
The Rest of The Day?
The rest of today will be spent reading and doing other relaxing things like playing putt-putt, hopefully, and if I am lucky, ascending the final rock-climbing route that I am yet to conquer. And then of course eating too much for supper again.
What’s the Verdict?
Going on a cruise for a holiday is definitely something that I can recommend, but before you go, do your research on the boat that you will be travelling on. As great as this has been, we have met many different pele who have said that the newer, bigger ships are so much better than the Legend of the Seas which we are travelling on. That said, we have had an amazing time, so it can only go up from here if we manage to go on a cruise again in our lives
