I would hazard a guess that anyone who thinks that the iPad is a replacement for a laptop or desktop computer has not tried to spend a day using the iPad as a replacement out of necessity.

This is the pain I had to experience yesterday and today as my computer was being worked on. At first I thought to myself “A day with out my computer will be a breeze, I’ve got Docs2Go and other things that will make this easy on my iPad!”

Boy was I wrong. There’s something to be said for a full size screen (or in my case, an additional screen to the laptop monitor), mouse and keyboard that makes working easier. Not only is it easier on your hands and wrists, but creating and updating word documents is a complete ball-ache without a mouse or trackpad.

So thank you Apple for a wonderful device that has made my life better in many ways, but thank you HP (it’s a work computer, so don’t judge me) for the laptop that I get to use on a daily basis to get my work done.
