Wow, what a book and wow what a man!
When a friend arrived back from a trip abroad with this doorstop of a book (on the day it came out) for me to read, I thought I wouldn’t stand a chance of finishing reading it before the end of the year. Oh how wrong I was.
What makes the book so easy to fly through is a combination of Steve Jobs being a very complicated, interesting person to read about, combined with a very well written book (hats off to Walter Isaacson). It’s all there, from his childhood, to the creation of Apple, his ousting, mood swings, fad diets and ultimately his death at the hands of cancer (which Jobs is convinced came about when being in charge of both Apple and Pixar at the same time).
It’s a great book and definitely worth the read.
